Centuries ago, island communities learned how to thrive on their inherent self-sustainability, relying on local resources and traditional practices to meet their needs.

However, rapid globalization has led Filipinos to become more dependent on external sources of food, materials, and textiles, increasing waste and diminishing the potential for regeneration.

Nature-oriented education puts locals in a better position to sustain the island’s resources.

On an island where peoples’ livelihoods depend on nature, we realized just how much the local community could offer with their local knowledge, coupled with technology and innovation.

This program is dedicated to building knowledge, skills, and practices rooted in sustainability, regenerative farming, and environmental education. It offers a diverse range of opportunities for individuals and communities to connect with nature, develop practical skills, and contribute to a more sustainable Siargao.
